We once again congratulate the Batten Class of 2024! This was our largest graduating class yet, with 98 students receiving their Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Public Policy degrees and 88 students receiving their Master of Public Policy.

On May 18, after participating in Final Exercises on the Lawn in the morning, our BA and MPP graduates gathered with their guests, faculty and staff later in the day to celebrate. Keynote speaker Dr. Adriana Kugler, along with Ellie Stombres (BA ’24) and Collin Quigley (MPP ’24), delivered thoughtful remarks, by turns somber and funny, about choosing a career in public service.

Now our new alumni head out into the world with the determination, empathy, integrity and leadership skills to bridge divides and solve the most pressing policy challenges of our time. They have chosen a variety of career paths to pursue their passion -- from research roles at think tanks, to congressional staff positions to Fulbright teaching programs.
